Prior to your arrival

Enquiries and reservations may be made by telephone, fax or email.
Directions to the hotel can be found on our web site or we would be pleased to forward then to you.
 

On arrival at the hotel

There is a drop off point at the main entrance to the front of the hotel.
There are designated disabled parking spaces at the front of the hotel. There is also an abundance of general car parking at the rear of the hotel.
There is a front entrance to the hotel and disabled entrance via the rear car park.
 

Reception area

Floor is tiled.
Reception area is accessible via a ramp.
Staff is available to assist with check in.
 

Public areas

All corridors are well lit.
The Restaurant and Bar are easily accessible from the main entrance or separate restaurant entrance via the front of the building.
The bar is on the same level as the reception and accessible via two entrances.
The old library is accessed from the reception area via two steps or from the front of the building via two steps.
The parlour suite has access via the reception area via two steps. Or level access from the corridor leading from rear entrance to reception.
 

Toilets

Ladies and gents toilets are located near reception.
 

The Restaurant

There is ample movable seating and there are chairs
Service is a mixture of full buffet and table service. Full waiter service is provided if required.
Restaurant tables are laid with white table linen.
There is a mixture of natural and artificial light in all areas.
 

Accommodation

The forty three bedrooms in the hotel are over three floors.
We do not have adapted bathrooms but many are fitted with grab rails over the bath.
Of the bedrooms, one ground floor executive room has been built specifically for wheelchair access: available as either a twin-bedded or double-bedded. The room is part disabled with grab rails around the sink and WC and has a walk in shower.
There are telephones in all rooms.

Fire alarm

The fire alarm is a high pitched siren and does not have flashing lights.
An evacuation procedure can be agreed with all guests on arrival.
Emergency evacuation plans are available in each room. Please make yourself familiar with them for your own safety.

Service dogs (only) are welcome.
